In 2005 Moseley suffered a Tornado that devastated many roads and hundreds of properties. Roofline were commissioned to carry out repairs and install new roofs on over 185 properties in the area along with other roofing contractors. Here is a block of 10 terraced houses, Roofline immediately scaffolded these properties for Health & Safety reasons. Roofline dealt with all of the insurance companies on behalf of all those homeowners concerned minimising the inconvenience of those affected. Moseley Tornado 2005
Roofline was instructed by an Insurance company to survey and deal with this intricate project. Our surveyor dealt with all aspects of surveys, estimates and insurance liaisons, minimising the disruption to the affected homeowner.
This project in Moseley, consisted of extensive damage to main roof, and the chimney was completely toppled over due to effects of tornado. The chimney’s intricasy was built up of four separate flues from different parts of the old Victorian house.
Roofline sympathetically carried out the time consuming reconstructions of all of the individual flues that was necessary - each flue was separate and complicated in that they all had to be internally reconstructed and not crossed into one another.
Roofline completely replaced perlins, rafters insulation and then installed the new slate roof. Roofline has given as always a very high standard finish to the property by a adding a quality exterior painted finish.
